In over forty years of preaching to congregations all over the country, I have amassed a rich history of experience using the extensive lectionary of both the Book of Common Prayer (1979) and the Revised Common Lectionary. Someone once said that every preacher has one sermon. Mine is focused on living in the light of the Great Commission and the Great Commandments. That focus has served the Lord and his church well, keeping the congregations I have served united in good times and bad, growing when others are dying, and filled with the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit. I am available for sermons as a guest or supply preacher and am more than happy to share my thoughts, methods, outlines, and texts with anyone who is interested.
